Elegant Camps Bay Villa w/ Pool | 150m to Beach

Positive: Location was fabulous, easy walk to restaurants and beach. Well equiped if you were self catering and a small pool in warmer weather. Parking garage which we didnt use as car would not have fitted. Security was great. Negative: The bathrooms in two of the bedrooms really need a makeover, very tired and a bit discoloured/mouldy. Toilet seats seem to be a problem as they were loose as well in some. If you stay in main room the creepy crawly was on 24 hours so at night time you can hear it when it gets to one end, not sure why it was on as we were there in non swimming weather. It was also the only place in 40 years of travel that I had to pay $A26 for a third party outsource to hold my damage bond. Should be the owner paying that. I asked owner to cover but he said he couldnt! The $A26 fee was not mentioned in booking conditions only the fact that there was a bond, which is normal and I had no problem with, but not the fee. I think the pictures need to be updated.

Positive: The cleanliness and amenities. Location was also superb Negative: Everything about the house was generally perfect. The host was super active and very considerate.

Very relaxing and spacious holiday home Positive: The house is spacious and all rooms have ensuite bathrooms. Modern and tasteful. The appliances are very complete, above all in the kitchen. Location is very pleasant, easy access to the beach and Cape town itself but still a quiet enough street. Security is no concern. Negative: Some more manuals/explanations to appliances and facilities could have been helpful. Installing airco in the living room could be an option for the summer months.
